Green Up Moggill

Greens campaign for the Moggill state election in 2009

Our sugggestion of where to start: 1 Greens

Our suggestion of where to start: 1 Greens

There are a few misconceptions doing the rounds about preferences. First, the Greens have not made a state-wide deal with Labor. Second, even where we have made a deal, a how to vote card is only a suggestion. If between now and the election Labor gives our supporters cause to be annoyed, they should not feel bound to follow the suggestion.

We have not made any preference deals in Moggill, but are relying on your informed judgement to allocate preferences.

Some other campaigns are attempting to influence preference flows as is their right. Take into account all the available information and do what you think best. I don’t like being told what to do, and I’m sure you don’t either.

For those unsure about how the whole preferences system works (it is different for state elections), here’s a short guide on the Queensland Greens web site.

Please return your card after use; we make note pads out of them after the election so they are not wasted.
